Zach joined C3 with the goals of expanding his knowledge of electrical codes, electrical systems design, and fire alarm and protection design, and to gain construction and MEP system experience. His duties include field verification of existing electrical systems, translating existing conditions into AutoCAD or Revit format, making load calculations, and designing new or revised electrical systems to meet the needs of each project.
C3 is one of few firms that produce accurate, hand-drawn as-builts as the first step of the design process. This has given Zach valuable systems design experience on a variety of engineering projects, ranging from small commercial tenant improvement fit-outs to large-scale commercial, residential and facilities projects.
Prior to joining C3, Zach completed co-ops as an electrical engineer intern at STV where he assisted on large commercial projects, including the MBTA Green Line Extension (GLX). He studied electromechanical engineering at Wentworth Institute of Technology and mathematics at the University of Massachusetts Boston.
An avid sports fan, Zach enjoys participating in local club sports, plays golf as often as possible and never misses a chance to watch a Boston sports team.
