Rick has more than 30 years of experience in facility engineering management. His operational experience and project management skills combine to strengthen his hands-on role as a technical project manager. With a focus on commercial office buildings, Rick is involved with all aspects of code-required smoke control system testing, as well as new and existing building commissioning. He ensures his team performs energy audits and building studies with the highest level of professional service.

Rick has a broad background and extensive operational engineering knowledge gained while working in the merchant marine, hospitality and commercial office space industries.

Rick holds a Bachelor of Science degree in marine engineering from the Massachusetts Maritime Academy.

When away from the office, Rick and his family enjoy outdoor activities and community involvement. He assists the charitable Community Boat Building Group in Boston using boatbuilding as a means to teach inner city youths valuable life skills.
