Since joining C3 in 2002, Michael Farnola has achieved significant accomplishments in capital projects, construction administration and program management. He is experienced in multimillion-dollar capital project planning, design and construction responsibilities, and facilities management. Michael is a USGBC LEED Accredited Professional and co-author of the AGC/BSA Construction Administration book. Educated as an architect at the Boston Architectural College, he received his Massachusetts Certification of Public Procurement Officers and has a certificate of Construction Dispute Resolution.
Michael has nearly 35 years of program and construction management experience for hospitals, laboratories, high-tech facilities, high-end residences, hotels, restaurants, and academic institutions. He has hands-on experience as a carpenter and ironworker and is familiar with MEP/FP and site civil trades. He received an outstanding performance award from Partners Health Care for project management performance for the design of their 34 operating room renovation project. He also co-chaired the surgical technology team and a member of the infrastructure committee at the Brigham and Women’s hospital campus. Michael works on projects from coast to coast, in addition to working on major Boston projects he also works in California on a new five star resort & a residence project in Napa Valley Calistoga, California.
As longtime residents of Andover, where he built designed and built his custom home. He enjoys being close to Andover center. Michael enjoys biking, swimming, dancing and golfing. He is active in the Free Christian Church in Andover where he serves on committees dealing with maintenance and building projects. He organized and leads the “Whole Food and Stop & Shop Team” that delivers groceries and household goods to homeless shelters and food services in Lawrence, Massachusetts.
