Kin has more than 30 years’ experience as a developer and architect in residential, office, retail, and mixed-use projects. He has a strong understanding of architectural and construction processes and knows how to reduce risk while adding value to projects. He has reduced construction time on his projects through the use of new modular construction technology. As an architect, he has worked closely with owners and their representatives to identify and resolve complex permitting, community relations, and brownfield site issues. By implementing innovative design, Kin has created award-winning, flexible spaces that can be readily adapted for a changing marketplace, primarily in the greater Boston area.
Since joining C3 in 2016, Kin has helped complete several projects on-time and on-budget, including a new corporate office building and main hangar for Boston MedFlight at Hanscom Air Force Base, MA, and a mid-rise, high-end condominium project with A.W. Perry and Boston Andes Capital in the Shipyard at Hingham, MA. Other notable projects include a high-rise, mixed-use luxury condominium development with Cottonwood Management on EschelonSeaport in the heart of Boston’s Seaport District and, with Nordblom Development, redeveloping the former Boston Globe headquarters into creative office, laboratory and retail uses dubbed The BEAT.
Kin holds a Bachelor of Architecture from Syracuse University. He participates in many development and construction professional organizations, and serves as an appointed member of the Arlington Redevelopment Board in Arlington, MA.
In Kin’s spare time, he enjoys boating with his family.
