David Ickes, AIA

Project Executive
E: ickes@c3boston.com
T: 617.330.9390

David has been a registered architect since 1984, almost exclusively in the management of institutional and educational projects. As a C3 project executive, David is responsible for all project phases, from initial concept planning through construction completion and commissioning. He has extensive experience on both public and private projects, including residence halls, student centers, sports field complexes, academic science buildings, parking garages, and site improvements. His background in architecture, design, planning, and construction give David a strong understanding of the process required to properly design, develop, manage, and construct a project.

Prior to joining C3 he spent 14 years in the capital projects group at Boston College where he managed the Alumni Stadium expansion and the complete renovation of all science labs on campus.

David has Bachelor of Science degrees in architecture and science from Kent State University and attended the Institute for Architecture and Urban Studies in New York City. He is a member of the American Institute of Architects, Boston Society of Architects, National Council of Architectural Registration Boards, and Construction Specification Institute, and is a LEED-accredited professional.

David was active in Bolton with coaching little league baseball and scouting. Once a season ticket holder for all NCAA sports at Boston College, David has not retired his Alumni Stadium BC football seats and still enjoys tailgate parties. Always active in a golf league, David is still in pursuit of that elusive single-digit handicap.
