Our developer client had plans to build a new hotel with a significant entertainment component. This involved creating and filing with the fire department a variety of specialized assembly permits, due to the fact that the design featured two nightclubs in the same building. Adding to the challenge, the client needed approval within just two weeks to stay on schedule.
The C3 Code Consulting team went right to work. We quickly developed a plan to maximize the occupant load for the space while maintaining the desired seating and standing layout and meeting the stringent code requirements. We also advised the architect on interior finishes to meet the unique, local fire code requirements.
The assembly permit drawings were submitted to the fire department promptly and were approved within two weeks, keeping the project on schedule.
