Michael has been a Project Management Executive with C3 since 2003 with significant accomplishments in capital projects, construction administration and program management. He is experienced in multimillion-dollar capital project planning, design and construction responsibilities, and facilities management. With this experience, he has developed finely tuned leadership skills to efficiently represent our clients. He was professionally educated at the Boston Architectural College as an Architect, is a USGBC LEED Accredited Professional and Co-Author of the AGC/BSA Construction Administration book. He received his Massachusetts Certification of Public Procurement Officers through the Inspector General's Office and has received a certificate of Construction Dispute Resolution from the Dispute Resolution Board Foundation.
Mike possesses a unique combination of nearly 30 years experience in hospital, laboratories, high-tech facilities, high-end residences, hotels, restaurants and academic organizations providing program and construction management. Raised in the construction business, he has hands-on experience as a carpenter, an ironworker, and is familiar with MEP/FP and site civil trades, a rarity among project managers. His academic training in architecture, program and construction management has been instrumental in the successful project development and delivery process for multiple client groups. To all his projects he brings creative leadership, technical acumen, cost savings and decisive management skills. He is a recipient of an award from Partners Health Care for outstanding project management performance on the design and construction of a $74M complex phased renovation project for 32 “state-of-the-art” inpatient surgical operating suites in an occupied patient tower’s of the Brigham and Women’s hospital.
As long time residents of Andover, he and his wife Lisa and youngest daughter Amanda enjoy being close to Andover center in the home they designed and built several years ago. Mike enjoys biking, swimming and golfing. Michael also has two grown children, Heidi and Joshua who live in British Columbia and Maine. He is active in the Free Christian Church in Andover where he serves on committees dealing with maintenance and building projects. He organized and leads the “Whole Food and Stop & Shop Team” that delivers overstocked bakery goods, fruits, vegetables and house hold goods to several homeless shelters and food services in Lawrence, Massachusetts seven days a week throughout the year.
