Courtney Schultz, PE
Fire Protection Senior Project Manager

Courtney Schultz has been working in the fire protection field for 10 years and has been at C³ since 2007. As the Senior Fire Protection Engineer, Courtney is responsible for overseeing the fire protection aspects of designs and Due Diligence inspections for C³. He also works closely with the firm’s Code Consulting arm to develop code compliant reviews for life safely and fire protection systems.

Courtney earned a BS in Fire Protection Engineering from the University of Maryland in 2001 and obtained his Professional Engineers license in 2007. While attending UMD, Courtney was an active member of the College Park, MD Volunteer Fire Department. This experience allowed Courtney to observe fire events and learn first hand how a fire actually burns. His professional experience includes fire protection, fire alarm, and life safety designs in a range of different building types—commercial, residential, assembly, and storage properties.

Courtney enjoys spending his time off with his family and friends, whether hiking in the White Mountains, catching a live sporting event or just hanging around in the backyard grilling.
